What is the Aurora Forum?

The Aurora Forum is a sweeping week of activities that will focus on humanity’s progress and highlight the best of the world’s social, academic, educational, and humanitarian practices. The greatest scientific innovators, educators, creative global leaders, and renowned humanitarians will speak on stages throughout Armenia.

When and where will it take place?

The Aurora Forum will be launched in Armenia, where its roots have sprung from and spread throughout the country, thus extending its message from North to South, from East to West. It is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 21, with major events to be held on October 16-20.

Who is the driving force behind the Aurora Forum?

Vartan Gregorian, Noubar Afeyan, Ruben Vardanyan, the Co-Founders of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, are the visionaries behind the Aurora Forum. Moreover, the Aurora Forum’s far-reaching agenda will be driven by prominent partners with a shared commitment to address global challenges and local development. In addition, a network of more than 140 Goodwill Ambassadors is providing expertise and insight to shape the Aurora Forum.

What kind of events will take place?

The fourth annual Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity Ceremony, the Global Innovation Forum 2019 – Transforming Intelligence, UWC Dilijan College Fifth Anniversary Events, “At the Crossroads: The Time of Decisions” roundtables on Armenia 2020-2041 are just some of the milestone moments you can witness. Who are the main partners of the Aurora Forum?

The Aurora Forum is powered by the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation, Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST), Scholae Mundi Global Educational Platform, the United World Colleges (UWC) Dilijan and Ameriabank. Founded on behalf of the survivors of the Armenian Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors, the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative seeks to empower modern-day saviors to offer life and hope to those in urgent need of basic humanitarian aid anywhere in the world, and thus to continue the cycle of giving internationally. The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative is Gratitude in Action.
